The Colorado LGBTQ+ Bar Association Foundation is proud to offer its 2024 summit scholarship

Our Foundation's Summit Scholarship fosters inclusiveness in the legal profession by providing financial assistance, in the form of two (2) $5,000.00 scholarships, to deserving Colorado LGBTQ+ identified law students who have shown strong academic promise and community engagement. Each scholarship provides supplemental funding for law students who have a demonstrated ability in and commitment to affecting change in the LGBTQ+ communities through their commitment to being educated and working in the legal profession.

By providing scholarships to LGBTQ+ law students, our Foundation recognizes students’ past achievements and provides much needed support for their future pursuits. 

Summit Scholarship recipients will be honored at our Annual Scholarship Gay-la on October, 18, 2024.

Key Dates:

• August 12: Summit Scholarship Application opens.
• September 9: Summit Scholarship Application closes.
• September 13: Semi-Finalists are notified by e-mail and provided with additional application materials.
• September 27: Deadline for Semi-Finalists to submit additional materials.
• October 4: Scholarship winners are notified via phone call or e-mail.
• October 18: Scholarship winners will be honored at the Annual Scholarship Gay-la
